I purchased a Red Spike sprinkler about 20 years ago from a garden retailer in Victoria B.C. I would never would have imagined that a simple piece of plastic would have lasted this long ! It is hands down the best sprinkler I’ve ever owned . It’s so easy to use , it covers a large or small area and waters evenly and thoroughly and is great for watering difficult areas to reach . We have lawn watering restrictions in our area and I can hook the Red Spike up and point it directly into the garden beds without getting a drop of water onto the lawn . The best thing about it is that it has no moving parts so will never breakdown providing you take care of it . Mine was eaten by my Rottweiler yesterday , it still works but is difficult to push into the soil without the tip on the end of it . I just ordered 5 new Red Spikes , a new one for myself and a few for gifts .
